The Etrel INCH Home is one of the smartest EV chargers on the market for homes and small businesses.
The Etrel INCH HOME wallbox charger is packed full of smart features and can be seamlessly integrated into your smart home to provide eco-friendly charging.
Features:
Delivering up to 22kW of power on three phase power or up to 7.4kW on single-phase power. This charger can be adjusted to different households or charging sites electrical capacity.
Advanced load control. Charging your car while you are heating your home, running your oven or running other heavy power consuming equipment can place a large demand on your fuse board. A seperate Load Guard sensor is installed in the building‘s fuse board where it measures the electrical currents and sends real-time data to the charging station. The charging station responds to this data and reduces the charging power to your car if the power supply is under pressure, or increases to utilise the remaining available power for faster charging. This prevents overloading your home’s fuse board, avoiding power fuse trips and costly electrical upgrades.
Intelligence. The charger learns and predicts your departure time. When in a hurry, choose fast charging with the touch of a finger.
A variety of access options allow you to simply plug and charge in your garage, or you can enable a PIN code to restrict access if your charger is in a semi-public location.
Designed to last. Unlike most plastic-cased chargers on the market, this charger has a solid cast aluminium housing and is prepared for the toughest outdoor environments. It also includes a shatter proof acrylic glass plate, plus an extended product warranty.
A powerful web interface. Connect over WiFi to the MyINCH web interface and access in-depth insights into your charging, set charging guidelines, tariffs and power limits for smart, cost-efficient charging.
Power-price friendly. Set your charger to react and vary charging speeds when you know the power price will be high or low. Or if you have solar panels, set a timer so that when you car is plugged in during the day, it can utilise your excess solar energy to fuel your car.
Future-focused. With open protocol software this charger can be seamlessly integrated into your smart home and can be linked to future charging platforms. As more EVs hit the road, our national power supply will likely be impacted. This charger can be linked in the future to the national grid to respond to tariffs and the supply of greener energy.
Built-in electrical safety protection. With a built in RCD Type A and DC leakage detection sensor, there is no need for an external RCD Type B device to be installed on your fuse board. This greatly reduces install time and costs (an external RCD Type B can cost between $300- $500). Matched with the Load Guard, the Etrel INCH Home provides safety for charging.

Commercial buildings where a limited number of chargers are needed and no clustering of chargers is required. If installing more than two chargers in one building, you will want to consider the INCH Pro for its group clustering capabilities.

You will need a Type 1 to Type 2 or Type 2 to Type 2 charge cable to use with this charge station. We do not supply chargers with a tethered cable. This ensures maximum accessibility to users, future proofs your charger and allows various EVs with both Type 1 or Type 2 charging ports to use this station. If this is charger is installed inside your garage, you can leave the cable attached to this charge station.
Depending on stock on hand, lead times may apply for these chargers.
* We supply 3-phase chargers by default to all customers and these can be wired by your installer to use only one of the available phases. We charge no additional premium for this feature. This enables you the flexibility to upgrade your power supply if needed in the future.
